dc.descriptionThis document issues a call for session and pre-forum event proposals for the Eighth Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum, the flagship event of the Asia-Pacific Adaptation Network Programme and a primary regional platform for climate change adaptation practitioners to meet, exchange knowledge and experiences, and collaborate on practical solutions. It frames resilience as the unifying theme and organises discussions into four thematic streams: resilience of food systems; resilience of ecosystems and ecosystem services; resilience of communities; and resilience of cities, infrastructure, and settlements. Across these streams, the document applies five enabling conditions—policy and governance, planning and programming, science and assessment, technologies and practices, and finance and investment—with gender and social inclusion treated as a cross-cutting issue.en
