dc.descriptionThis report is a Terminal Evaluation of a UNEP “Environment Education and Youth” project that was implemented between May 2018 and December 2023. The project's overall development goal was “The engagement in environmental education activities to achieve the primary impact of realising a future in which professional capacity is sufficient to deliver integrated ecosystem management and wider sustainable development objectives”. The evaluation sought to assess project performance (relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency), and determine the outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from it, including their sustainability. The evaluation has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote operational improvements, learning, feedback and knowledge sharing through the results and lessons learned among UNEP and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.en
