Because traditional markets are vital for global livelihoods and food security, yet frequently act as environments for pathogen amplification, several international agencies provide structured guidelines for national authorities. The scope encompasses emergency suspensions of mammalian wildlife trade, alongside rigorous risk assessments and enhanced hygiene frameworks. Key findings emphasise that over seventy per cent of emerging human infectious diseases originate in wildlife. Proposed methods focus on upgrading sanitary infrastructure, expanding animal health surveillance, and implementing educational campaigns.
